The Foundation's Health Tracking initiative was designed to support efforts to understand better health system changes and how these changes affect people.This contract provides initial support for the Center for Studying Health System Change, allowing for start-up activities and initial planning. The Center is a new organization established by Mathematica Policy Research Holding Corp. with the purpose of conducting monitoring projects for the Foundation. This contract will allow the Center to begin operation and Paul Ginsburg to move from his position as executive director of the Physician Payment Review Commission to president and executive director of the Center.
