Meeting health and shelter needs of homeless chronically ill people

Under this grant, continued efforts would be extended to develop supportive housing for homeless individuals with chronic illnesses. The project will expand to 5-7 other states and major cities and would increase total production to roughly 10,000 units of supportive housing across the country. Grant funds will be used to operate the national intermediary and the local offices and will provide small grants and loans as seed capital and predevelopment funding for specific projects. Additional funders to this project include Pew and Ford.
