Technical assistance and direction for RWJF's Partners in Caregiving program

The Foundation's Partners in Caregiving: The Dementia Services Program was designed to provide technical assistance and grant support to help adult day centers develop and strengthen innovative center-based, in-home, and other respite programs for people with chronic cognitive disorders--particularly dementia.This grant supports the National Program Office at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine to provide technical assistance and direction for the Partners in Caregiving Program. The Program Office, which oversees 50 sites (25 funded and 25 receiving intensive technical assistance) will: (1) conduct workshops (on marketing, fundraising, financing, programming, etc.); (2) provide and schedule consultants to meet with sites; (3) conduct site visits; (4) conduct an annual meeting; and (5) produce and distribute promotional brochures, newsletters and operational manuals.
