Technical assistance and direction for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Community Health Leaders program
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Community Health Leaders program was designed to provide recognition for the contributions community health leaders make to achieving RWJF's mission and goals and to enhance the capacity of these individuals to have a more permanent and widespread impact on health care problems.This grant supports technical assistance and direction for the Community Health Leaders program. The principal objectives of the grant are to: (1) continue to implement the nomination and selection process in conjunction with RWJF staff and the program's National Advisory Committee (NAC); (2) conduct site visits; (3) convene meetings of the NAC; (4) provide technical assistance to award winners in devising plans for utilizing the training, travel, and seed funds; and (5) create mentoring opportunities via an alumnae network.
