Support program for patients and families experiencing catastrophic illness

Founded in 1978, the Center provides support services for those living with severe or terminal illness, bereavement, and other losses. Eight hundred families affected with life-threatening illnesses such as cancer, stroke, AIDS, and traumatic injuries receive at-home supportive and personal care, professional counseling and community referrals and follow-up. RWJF is providing approximately 22 percent of the annual budget to continue these services.
