Genuine Reform is Local. The Real Work Happens Here.

A video series from Aligning Forces for Quality (AF4Q) highlights work being done in the 17 AF4Q regions to improve health care quality. AF4Q is the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s signature effort to lift the overall quality of health care in targeted communities, reduce racial and ethnic disparities and provide models that will help propel national reform.

This fall, the AF4Q Alliances from Puget Sound to South Central Pennsylvania hosted meetings to discuss reforming health care in their regions. While the meetings did not focus exclusively on the passage of health reform, the new law provided the communities with an opportunity to connect their local work with key provisions in the reform law related to improving health care quality or equality.

The video series includes footage captured at those meetings as stakeholders discussed topics such as payment reform and public reporting, among others.
