The Foundation's program, New Jersey Health Initiatives, was designed to support projects in New Jersey that develop new approaches to resolving the state's health care needs, focusing on the Foundation's goal areas.This grant to the Princeton Center for Leadership Training (PCLT) supports development of a statewide certification program for New Jersey schools and/or districts to establish safer, supportive, engaging, and inspiring environments for students. PCLT will provide the schools with the tools and resources to make these changes. As a result, these schools will more effectively address students' social, emotional, and health needs and accelerate student achievement. These efforts will simultaneously bring schools into compliance with the letter and the spirit of New Jersey's dating-violence and harassment, intimidation, and bullying legislation.
