This grant funds the development and expansion of the Supporting Initiatives to Redistribute Unused Medicine (SIRUM) project. SIRUM is an online community connecting safety-net clinics with surplus drugs from eligible donor organizations. The support of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) will allow SIRUM to expand its operations in California, allowing it to include approximately 300 donors in the state in its network. RWJF's support will also allow SIRUM to explore national expansion, including a piloted approach in at least one other state.
