Establishing the Public Health Leadership Forum to foster creative problem solving and idea dissemination
This contract will enable RESOLVE to support the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) in the creation of the standing Public Health Leadership Forum (the Forum). The Forum will provide an ongoing platform to engage a diverse set of public health leaders and stakeholders in dialogue on current challenges to public health and opportunities for transformation in the field. The Forum will: enable public health leaders to collaboratively address pressing policy and practice challenges, identified by RWJF, the advisory group, and other stakeholders; provide a rapid-response mechanism, creating the opportunity to discuss emerging issues in a timely manner; and provide a platform to identify new opportunities and strategies in public health. This contract will support the design and development of the Forum's infrastructure, including identification of an approximately 10-person advisory group; 20 stakeholder interviews; 6 in-person meetings of approximately 30 people; 6 3-hour virtual meetings; and either summary or formal Forum reports for each of the meetings.
