This grant supports (1) ChangeLab Solutions in conducting a review of technical assistance (TA) response and tracking systems that are in use by current Childhood Obesity (COB) grantees and others external to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF); (2) operate an interim and basic TA tracking system; and (3) prepare a final report with recommendations for a comprehensive TA tracking system. Currently, no one portal exists for TA requests and referrals; some resources are heavily used, and others may be underused. RWJF has no mechanism for gauging or metering demand, or for strategically directing people to evidence-based solutions. The final report will consider all of this and provide recommendations on appropriate technology and system feedback to help the Foundation better assess the demands for and impact of TA. A survey and interviews with key internal grantees and external stakeholders, along with an advisory council, will inform and guide both the interim system and final report.
