Continuing support for the National Health Policy Forum to inform federal health policy-making, 2012-2013
This grant supports the nonpartisan National Health Policy Forum (Forum) in providing health policy information to congressional and executive branch policymakers and to Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) staff members. The deliverables will include nine meetings and development of three written products over the course of the project. Forum materials will be available for use on the Foundation's new website. Since 2012 is an election year, the Forum will reprise its Health Policy Essentials series in 2013 to bring new congressional staff up to speed on the "basics" of Medicare, Medicaid, State Children's Health Insurance Program, private insurance, public health, and other topics. The Forum will not use RWJF funds for lobbying.
