Archiving the New Jersey Network program library, Phase 1
This grant supports the planning to archive New Jersey Network (NJN) television programs and make the 40 years of historical news and materials available to the general public. WNET, New York, will use the grant funds to: (1) develop a detailed inventory of all NJN media assets; (2) identify the media assets most at risk; (3) identify the media assets with the highest historical and cultural value; (4) provide an initial cost estimate to complete the archive; and (5) identify possible places to display the NJN library of materials to be preserved.
