Supporting the Bipartisan Policy Center's Health-Debt Joint Project to contain health care costs

This grant supports the Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) in developing politically credible and sustainable policy recommendations to contain health spending, improve value, and significantly reduce the federal deficit and national debt. Given the expectation that policymakers in 2013 will seek to achieve a historic budget agreement that will likely have an enormous impact on health and health spending, BPC will draft a white paper containing policy recommendations intended to reduce health spending and will release and disseminate it in time to inform the debate leading to that agreement.
