This grant provides general operating support for Independent Sector, a membership organization representing both foundations and nonprofit organizations. Key deliverables for this grant will be: (1) strengthening Independent Sector's voice in representing the interests of the nonprofit and philanthropic sector; (2) investing in leaders to meet evolving needs of the sector; and (3) improving nonprofit and philanthropic organizations' ability to define and describe their impact.
