The Foundation's program, Advancing Partners and Practice through Public Health Law, was designed to further build the field of public health law through enhancing communities of learning and practice. This grant will allow the National Coordinating Center (NCC) of the Network for Public Health Law (Network) to implement two fellowship initiatives that will provide opportunities for a hands-on experience for five attorneys new to the field and six professors of public health law. This will provide a structure for piloting the first two out of five fellowship projects from this authorization, allow participation by organizations that are well suited and prepared to establish relationships with and provide experiences for participating fellows, and provide input and feedback to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation about the fellowship's impact and effectiveness.
