This project will build on previous research and will support education, dissemination, advocacy and network building. Building on the efforts of Phase 1, this project will develop and maintain an interactive website and blog to support grassroots movement-building and nonlobbying advocacy for local policy. The website will include fact sheets and materials, news and digests, blogs and tools, and key research and presentations. Additionally, this project will provide technical assistance and tools to public health practitioners and advocates. An advisory board, which was convened during Phase 1, will guide this project. All efforts will be coordinated with the communications officers of the Health Group and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Law Department.
