This project will identify successful innovations and support entrepreneurs to replicate successful innovations in health and health-care-delivery from around the world to improve cost, access and quality. The International Partnership for Innovative Healthcare Delivery (IPIHD) at Duke University will focus on supporting innovators and entrepreneurs from around the world. IPIHD will have four core functions: (1) building knowledge and networking; (2) fostering mentorships; (3) holding an annual investor-innovator conference; and (4) increasing dialogue within the regulatory community. IPIHD will determine deliverables each year of the project's three years; for the first year, it has set out to (1) develop a website for innovators to share information; (2) establish a mentorship program that matches innovators with industry executives; (3) hold an investor-innovator conference; and (4) identify at least 12 delivery solutions from around the world.
