Evaluating the Medicaid Leadership Institute and assisting states in expanding coverage under the Affordable Care Act

This program contract supports an evaluation of the Medicaid Leadership Institute (MLI) program to provide feedback to the Foundation and the National Program Office, the Center for Health Care Strategies, and to make appropriate mid course corrections during the year. The evaluator will conduct formal and informal surveys and interviews to assess the impact of the activities and the program. In addition, the evaluator will assist the Foundation's Coverage team with planning and developing new ways to help state Medicaid programs. The evaluator will gather information through informal meetings with a variety of state and federal officials and report findings and suggestions. The deliverables will include up to five written reports (up to four for the MLI program and one to assist planning for future Medicaid programming).
