Using social network analysis to evaluate RWJF's childhood obesity initiatives, 2011-2012

This supplementary award will permit completion of an evaluation that examines how social networks affect work of the Foundation in childhood obesity prevention. The project overall will describe the networks related to the six priority areas of childhood obesity prevention selected by the Foundation, the roles that Foundation grantees and staff play in those networks, and how best to sustain strategic connections over time. Deliverables will be the final report, updating of information on grantee contacts for RWJF's grants database, and a diagram of the social network analysis.
