The grant provides support for a co-project director to support the director of the New Mexico Office of Health Care Reform and to be the state's project coordinator for the Foundation's State Health Reform Assistance Network (State Network) program. The co-project director will be responsible for coordinating Affordable Care Act implementation activities across multiple agencies, providing guidance to all levels of staff, and facilitating statewide meetings. The co-project director will serve as the primary point of contact for the State Network, facilitate technical assistance requests, and provide direction and support for the work being conducted by the State Network's technical assistance providers with state agencies. The Office of Health Care Reform will also use the funds to support 50 percent of the time of an administrative assistant and expenses related to hosting tribal and stakeholder consultations.
