Monitoring the impact of the Affordable Care Act on quality improvement in health care
This grant funds the Urban Institute to monitor the impact of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) on health care quality and disparities in 10 states. The project will rely on qualitative data collection and analysis to determine what the impact has been to date. Project deliverables will include up to six reports covering a variety of topics, generally including the impact of coverage expansion on quality and disparities and the implementation of ACA's quality provisions.
