With this grant, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) seeks to engage the University of Colorado, School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, in strategy implementation, program management and relationship building aimed at achieving the Foundation's goal of reversing the epidemic of childhood obesity. This grant will allow the University to devote 80 percent of the time of a faculty pediatrician to work with RWJF to develop and implement programs and strategies to prevent childhood obesity.
