Supporting Public/Private Ventures in its organizational and financial repositioning, taking programs to scale and refining benchmarking work

This grant supports Public/Private Ventures (P/PV) in accomplishing three objectives: First, the grant will provide unrestricted core-support funding to enable P/PV to reposition itself organizationally and financially, so that it can align its work to implement the strategic framework it developed in March 2011. Second, the grant will support activities to inform policy-makers, service providers and funders on critical issues related to growing promising and effective programs/practices, most commonly referred to as scaling. Third, the grant will support the planning phase for a project--building on P/PV's current Benchmarking Project--to establish common benchmarks of practice and outcomes for two new fields of work that target vulnerable populations (the selection to be finalized during the planning phase). Deliverables will include webinars, presentations and papers based on the scaling work, and an implementation plan for the benchmarking work.
