Strengthening public health institutes' role in and impact on public health performance, policy and evidence
This project will strengthen the ability of the National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI) and individual institutes across the country to improve performance of the public health system, build and translate evidence, and increase the use of policies to improve health. As deliverables, this project will: (1) provide technical assistance to and foster peer learning among established and emerging public health institutes (PHIs); (2) increase the capacity of PHIs to improve performance and advance programs and policies that improve health ; (3) leverage the work of individual PHIs and their multisector partners to advance multiple Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) initiatives; and (4) strengthen NNPHI's strategic communications and partnerships at the national level.
