Launching the Own Your Health campaign to educate consumers about health care quality

This grant is one of five communications minigrants to educate patients or other stakeholders in Aligning Forces for Quality communities about a specific aspect of quality care, with the goal of devising models that other communities can replicate. With this grant, the Aligning Forces alliance covering five counties in the Puget Sound area will work through employers to raise awareness among employees about what quality care is and about the alliance's Community Checkup website. Entitled Own Your Health, the campaign will create communications products for employers to use with their employees, while engaging employees directly through social media. The alliance will also produce a series of videos that use humor to explain quality care.
