Technical assistance and direction for RWJF's New Jersey Health Initiatives program

The Foundation's program, New Jersey Health Initiatives (NJHI), was designed to support projects in New Jersey that develop new approaches to resolving the state's health care needs, focusing on the Foundation's goal areas.This grant supports technical assistance and direction (TAD) for the National Program Office (NPO), which is located at Rutgers/Camden, in Camden, New Jersey. Management and technical assistance provided by the NPO includes program development, proposal solicitation and review and selection, monitoring site visits, assessment of grantee performance, communications and outreach support and other activities. As of August 1, 2011, the NJHI portfolio will have 25 active projects at various stages of their 3-year grants. Six months later, active grants will increase by 16 to 41. Under this grant year, the NPO will issue three calls for proposals, including the support for the development, implementation and management of the "Community Agency Capacity Enhancement Program" to be launched this year..
