Providing technical assistance to the states in implementing coverage provisions of the Affordable Care Act, 2011-2012
Manatt Health Solutions will provide technical assistance in the development of state health insurance exchanges, in streamlining eligibility and enrollment systems, and in Medicaid expansion. Manatt will also provide project-management technical expertise to 10 states to help organize and manage complex projects. Manatt expects extensive collaboration and coordination and that technical expertise will be provided in consultation with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's additional technical assistance providers. Deliverables will include monthly calls and written reports to Princeton University on the technical assistance that Manatt provides to the states; individual and group calls with the states; toolkits; workplans; templates to facilitate discussions; meeting agendas and task lists; and analyses of federal guidelines.
