Technical assistance and direction for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Center to Prevent Childhood Obesity
This Center to Prevent Childhood Obesity, led and housed at the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement, has engaged its strategic partner, PolicyLink, to collaboratively carry out several formative and fundamental tasks. Tasks completed in year three include opening an office in Washington, DC, hosting the center's first regional technical assistance meeting in Nashville, TN, and assisting the Houston Endowment in development of a local community initiative targeting childhood obesity. Tasks in this bridge grant include continuation of the center's core functions of policy, field coordination, technical assistance and communications.
