Supporting the Partnership at Drugfree.org's acquisition of Join Together's assets and constituencies

This grant supports the Partnership at Drugfree.org's acquisition of and integration with the resources of Join Together, which include Web sites, publications and constituencies, when it depletes its financial assets in March 2011. Since 1991, Join Together has been a national leader in community-based efforts to combat alcohol and drug abuse. Deliverables for this project will: (1) sustain the Join Together Web portal; (2) expand the content of its e-news products; (3) leverage existing research in the Join Together portal; (4) explore strategic alliances with organizations that could provide new content; (5) leverage Join Together's identity as a communications channel with stakeholders in federal and state governments; and (6) add professional information/education programs to the Web site.
