The Foundation's program, State Health Access Reform Evaluation (SHARE), was designed to support research and evaluation of state health reform initiatives and develop an evidence base for future state and federal reform initiatives. This grant supports continued technical assistance and direction for the ongoing management of the SHARE program at the University of Minnesota's School of Public Health. Over the coming year, the national program office will focus its efforts in four broad areas: (1) ongoing grant management of the 24 research projects funded under the two rounds of the program; (2) dissemination of findings from these projects, turning the research results into resources that can be easily used by state and federal policy makers; (3) active coordination and collaboration with the grantees on their studies; and (4) planning for a third round of SHARE. Deliverables will include journal articles from the grantees, as well as briefs, a program Web site and other materials for a policy audience.
