Supporting Generations United's 2010 summit to strengthen intergenerational collaboration

This grant supports a media event and summit that will focus on the advancement of intergenerational policies. Specifically, it will foster connections among groups representing the aging, children and youths and develop principles and action steps for intergenerational policy solutions. The summit will build on the success of a previous event, jointly funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Annie E. Casey Foundation, entitled "Stronger Together: A Call to Innovation for Funders of Children, Youth, Family and Older Adults." Deliverables will include the media event and summit; creation of principles and policy priorities to educate lawmakers and regulators; and dissemination of the Generational Perspectives Signature Report and a white paper.
