This funding will support core activities of the Consumer-Purchaser Disclosure Project (CPDP) for one year. With this grant, CPDP will continue to advocate on behalf of health care consumers and purchasers for a variety of reforms to create sustainable, high-value health care. Deliverables will include: (1) developing better measurement of and comparative information about the cost and quality of health care and publicly reporting that information; (2) promoting payment and other incentive reforms that reward high-value care; and (3) ensuring that the current push to adopt health information technology supports these measurement and payment reforms.
