Technical assistance and direction for RWJF's State Coverage Initiatives program

The Foundation's program, State Coverage Initiatives, was designed to help states plan and develop insurance market reforms, Medicaid reforms, and other significant health care financing and delivery changes.This grant supports continued technical assistance and direction for this Foundation national program. Among the activities being supported are: (1) an annual conference focused on implementation; (2) policy and technical assistance for state policy-makers and health care leaders and technical workshops and small group consultations on issues critical to implementation; (3) publications, including technical manuals, issue briefs, profiles on best practices, monthly electronic newsletters, a comprehensive annual report on the state of state health reform, and Webinars targeted to current health reform issues; and (4) a comprehensive and timely Web site and blog designed to provide information to state policy-makers and others interested in state health policy.
