Technical assistance and direction for RWJF's State Health Access Reform Evaluation program
The Foundation's State Health Access Reform Evaluation was designed to fund research and evaluation of state health reform initiatives and develop an evidence base for future state and federal reform initiatives.This grant will support the ongoing management of the SHARE program at the University of Minnesota's School of Public Health. Over the coming year, the national program office will focus its efforts in two broad areas: (1) ongoing grant management and dissemination of the 16 projects funded under the initial authorization of the program; and (2) funding of approximately 6-7 new projects under the reauthorization to look specifically at how states are implementing national reforms. Deliverables will include journal articles from the grantees, as well as briefs, a program Web site and other materials for a policy audience.
