The Foundation's Health Policy Fellowships Program was designed to allow midcareer health professionals and behavioral and social scientists to experience a one-year residency in Washington, D.C., working for a member of Congress on health policy.This grant supports the participation of Janet E. Leigh, D.M.D., as one of the ten fellows selected under the Health Policy Fellows 2009-2010 grant awards. The program prepares outstanding midcareer health professionals and social and behavioral scientists in academic or community-based settings to assume leadership roles in health policy.
