Analyzing changes in ADL assistance levels among Green House elders compared with residents in traditional nursing homes

This evaluation project, which is a supplement to the Nursing Home Workflow Study. It will produce additional data that will contribute to the growing body of evidence regarding the efficacy of the Green House model and will support the Green House Replication Initiative. Building on the original study, the investigators will deliver: (1) data on ADLs (activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, bed mobility, and eating, etc.) over time for a sample of Green House residents and a matched sample of residents from traditional nursing homes; and (2) a final, analytical report that compares changes in ADL assistance levels for Green House residents to those of residents in traditional nursing homes.
