This transfer grant will enable the Join Together (JTO) project to continue under the auspices of the Center for Substance Abuse and Addiction. The project will provide support for JTO over the next year in helping organizations dealing with addiction prevention and treatment to collaborate and have access to the timely information JTO provides. Supporting JTO will also help current Foundation grantees (a number of whom are continuing through 2010) connect with each other, publicize their accomplishments, and leverage policy and practice changes for the field. Join Together will make every effort to ensure the accurate presentation of information about the addiction field and will continue to investigate possible mechanisms for support in the future.
