Analyzing and disseminating data to assist policy-making to strengthen the current and future registered nurse (RN) workforce

This grant will support the work of a project manager, Peter Buerhaus Ph.D., R.N. F.A.A.N., to manage the production, translation and dissemination of research to members of the RWJF Initiative on the Future of Nursing at the Institute of Medicine. Research projects, including data analyses, construction of charts and tables and survey development will be conducted by an interdisciplinary team of researchers who have knowledge of nursing issues and experience working with nursing data. Research products developed through this grant will be disseminated through academic channels as well as made available by the Center to Champion Nursing in America.
