Technical assistance and direction for the Advancing Recovery program
The Foundation's program, Advancing Recovery: State/Provider Partnerships for Quality Addiction Care, was designed to support partnerships between treatment provider organizations that deliver care, and states that are in the unique role of being both the largest purchaser of publicly funded treatment services (70 percent) and regulators and licensers of those services.Over the final 18 months of the Advancing Recovery program, the National Program Office (NPO) will provide: peer learning sessions for the six current (Round 2) grantees; coaching support tailored to each site's needs; grantee conference calls and Webinars; a refined model to guide system-level change at the state and provider levels; and an enhanced program Web site. The NPO will work with Foundation staff and communications consultants to capture and disseminate lessons learned to the addiction prevention and treatment field.
