This project will undertake research and policy analysis related to the health care needs of children and families in the context of national health reform, specifically to increase policymakers' knowledge of what children and families need from reform and of proposed changes to the health care system. In addition, the project will seek to enhance the new Administration's understanding of what regulatory or other administrative policy changes can be made or initiatives undertaken to improve health coverage for children and families. The deliverables will be a framing report describing key policy issues for children and families regarding national health reform and a brief for the new Administration on Executive Branch policy changes and initiatives that it can implement to improve coverage for children and families.
