Providing consulting services to RWJF to plan and host Thought Leaders Forums on childhood obesity

This grant supports four Thought Leaders Forums over the next two years to engage experts with diverse perspectives on uncharted, timely and relevant health policy issues, with the purpose of recommending next steps toward childhood obesity prevention. The Foundation may use information from the forums to guide its programming and philanthropic investments or to alert key stakeholders of opportunities to improve access to healthy foods and safe places for play. The OMG Center for Collaborative Learning (OMG) will oversee forum planning and coordination. Other deliverables will include: (1) debriefing sessions after each forum with OMG and Foundation staff to prepare for upcoming forums; (2) a summary of each forum discussion, with suggested policy opportunities and recommendations for the Foundation's grant making; and (3) a policy brief for each forum for posting on the Foundation's Web site.
