Health and health care reporting by National Public Radio: 2008-2011
This grant will continue long-standing support by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) of NPR's Health Unit to maintain in-depth news coverage of important health and health care issues, and will allow NPR to develop innovative ways to extend the reach of this health reporting on www.npr.org. The deliverables include more than 1,000 health-related broadcasts, regular health and health care segments of NPR's flagship programs, and the creation of a dedicated Health topics page on www.npr.org.
