Technical assistance and direction for RWJF's State Health Access Reform Evaluation program

The Foundation's State Health Access Reform Evaluation (SHARE) was designed to fund research and evaluation of state health reform initiatives and develop an evidence base for future state and federal reform initiatives.During the third year of the project, this technical assistance and direction grant will provide funds to the national program office (NPO) to develop a new Call for Proposals and to work with the Proposal Advisory Group to review proposals and make funding recommendations to the Foundation. It will also support SHARE's ongoing technical assistance to applicants, grantees and others seeking information to enact reforms to expand access to health insurance coverage. Dissemination and technical support will be achieved through the SHARE Web site and the publication of issue briefs. Finally, this effort will seek to strengthen the SHARE research community and expand state capacity by hosting coverage expansion workshops and webinars.
