Building and fostering the field of public health services and systems research, 2008-2012

This project will support the Public Health Services and Systems Research (PHSSR) community through AcademyHealth's professional development and learning opportunities and will link research to public health policy and practice over the next four years. Deliverables will include: (1) supporting AcademyHealth's Public Health Services and Systems Research Interest Group; (2) integrating PHSSR into AcademyHealth's Annual Research Meeting and yearly National Health Policy Conference; (3) providing training on PHSSR methods and research design for senior and junior researchers; and (4) holding at least two seminars or other meetings to leverage investments by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in PHSSR.
