This grant will support implementation of the Close to Home community mobilization model in three communities in Massachusetts. Community mobilization is a promising approach to preventing intimate partner violence by engaging a full spectrum of community residents, including neighbors, civic organizations, leaders, friends, families and service providers. The deliverables will include: (1) documentation of the lessons learned in Boston's Dorchester community, a Close to Home site, including development of tools, manuals, training materials and technical assistance guides necessary for replication of the program; and (2) development of leadership training modules in the replication sites.
