Conducting issue briefings on health and health care policy for policy-makers, journalists and national organization officials
This grant supports the Alliance for Health Reform's continuing effort to educate national policy makers and journalists in a nonpartisan way about health care issues. Deliverables include: (1) 11 briefings for congressional and executive branch staff, officials of national health and business organizations, and the media; (2) six media briefings; (3) English and Spanish guidebooks on health policy issues for reporters and congressional staff; (4) one-on-one briefings with reporters; and (5) a find-an-expert service for reporters. The alliance will also web cast the 11 briefings and produce four-page digests on each topic for all members of Congress.
