This project will disseminate the knowledge gained from the evaluation of RWJF's end-of-life grantmaking to three key audiences: staff from other foundations, the end-of-life field, and the evaluation community. This evaluation is unique in its focus on the strategy behind RWJF's grantmaking and has important insights to inform the practices of each of these audiences. Three papers will be prepared, one for each audience. Although the topic of each paper will be the same-the strategy assessment of the end-of-life portfolio-each audience has a different set of interests and is seeking to learn about different issues. By tailoring the information to each audience's interests, the papers will better address their key questions and issues, will engage them, and will enable them to draw out lessons.
