Preparing the physician workforce to improve performance in practice (Phase 3)

Improving Performance in Practice is led by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) and seeks to help physicians in small- and medium-size practices improve the quality of care they provide to patients with diabetes and asthma, chronic diseases that have treatments based on nationally-accepted guidelines and measures. The project is laying the groundwork for an infrastructure that will sustain improvements in the quality primary-care practices in five regions across the country.
