The Foundation's program, Consumer Voices for Coverage: Strengthening State Advocacy Networks to Expand Health Coverage, was designed to support state-based consumer health advocacy networks to increase their capacity to participate in health care reform efforts with key stakeholders, such as businesses, hospitals, insurers, providers and government officials.This grant provides support for technical assistance and training to consumer health advocacy organizations in up to ten states to effect policy change. In addition, the National Program Office will conduct needs assessments, coordinate communications support, capture and disseminate best practices and organize an annual meeting. This grant will ensure smooth coordination of the program by serving as the liaison between grantees and RWJF. The award includes a subcontract for an Administrative Services Organization.
