The Foundation's Young Epidemiology Scholars Program: A National Effort to Attract the Attention of Young Scholars to the Health of the Public, was designed to attract the best and the brightest high school students to become the public health leaders of the future. This grant provides continued support to manage the annual scholarship competition for four years (2007-2010) for high school students based on their epidemiological research to identify solutions to important health problems. The project will advance the Foundation's strategic objective of enhancing public health leadership by increasing the visibility and understanding of public health.
